My husband and I stayed here for 9 days and absolutely loved it. We had wonderful assistance to and from our accommodation and felt immediately at home. It was very helpful to have the option of grocery delivery the first evening so that we could stay in and relax after our travels and not worry about dinner or breakfast. The home is well stocked with basically anything you may need during your stay. There is essentially a very available team of people to help you with any questions or anything you may need, which we found very helpful. They were extremely responsive. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. We could have stayed there the entire time without ever leaving and we would have been extremely happy. The wi-fi connection is excellent. We enjoyed so much wildlife viewing including whales, dolphins, various birds and butterflies. One evening we had a small bonfire in the provided clay pot and watched the moonrise! Highly recommend!!!

We stayed at Casa Gratitud with our two older teens and fell in love with everything about it— the house itself, the views, the natural surroundings, the town of Yelapa and its people. The owners, Steve and Robert, were very helpful and communicative from the very start. They shared all the information we needed well in advance of our arrival and were always available to answer any questions before and during our stay. The local hosts, Yanet and Felipe, are also wonderful. We paid Yanet to cook dinner for us one evening, and her food was fantastic. The house is incredibly well-maintained and stocked— by the far the best of any rental we’ve stayed in over our 30 years of travel. The owners have thought of everything, including redundant WiFi carriers so you always have internet service. Yelapa is a really special place, with many fun things to do and to explore, but the house itself was the highlight of our two weeks in Mexico (we were in San Pancho as well). Casa Gratitud is truly breathtaking- there are no other words to describe thr architecture and the views. We spent many hours sitting on the huge deck, with its views of the lights of Puerto Vallarta, the main beach in Yelapa, the surrounding jungle vegetation, and the ocean. We saw whales on at least 3 occasions and sat together talking under the stars at night. I could go on, but the gist is that you could spend all day at this house, never going anywhere, and have the best vacation.

The accommodation is beautiful and the view is impressive. Lots of communication from Steve and his team. You have to consider that there are stairs to get there. The house is very special and very well equipped. Any visit to Yelapa is magical in this place.

Our family and dog celebrated Christmas at Casa Gratitud—an exceptional Airbnb stay! Nestled in lush jungle, the setting was nothing short of dramatic, with breathtaking, sweeping views of the ocean. The house is a treasure—comfortable, tastefully decorated, breezy, and thoughtfully designed to maximize the incredible vistas. The amenities were exceptional, with well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, impeccable cleanliness, pre-stocked fridge, and porters who managed our luggage. Felipe, the manager, was key in facilitating private boat transfers and excursions. Some things worth noting-part of Yelapa’s appeal is its isolation; getting to CG involved a 1 hour boat ride from PV, an arduous 20-min hike along the shore and uphill to reach the house. The property proved to be a paradise for adults and we LOVED it. If you are reasonably fit, enjoy adventure, and are looking for an incredible place to relax and unwind in a gorgeous setting, this place is a gem and will fill you with Gratitud.

Casa Gratitud is on its own level! This was my family’s second time to Yelapa and we loved being high in the jungle. The beds are so comfortable and the outdoor spaces are incredibly relaxing. The flora and fauna surrounding the casa is so incredible and special, you won’t want to leave! To top it all off, Steve and the hosts, Felipe and Yanet were so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Cannot say more about this incredible stay.

Casa Gratitud was epic. We were greeted at the beach and shown right to the house. The young man was friendly and filled me on all things Yelapa. The house was super clean. Yanet was there with all of the groceries we asked to have at the house on arrival. She also made salsa and guacamole for us, which was delicious. She came back the next morning to make us breakfast too, which I highly recommend. It was definitely worth getting the groceries there for us so we didn't have to leave once we were there. Felipe was also super friendly and helpful.
The house has quite a few steps to climb up, and it is steep, but if you take it slow and easy, it's okay and totally worth it. The view is incredible! The living areas are nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed chilling on the patio, playing the games provided. Kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked as well. The house is a bit of a walk from the pueblo, but we just packed up for the day to enjoy Yelapa!

So delighted to provide casa gratitud's maiden review!
Arriving there to no problems/headaches/unpleasant surprises-- Fredy met me at the Bahia cafe by the pier exactly on time.
Pics accurate and recent. Appears to be a newly constructed home. All the furniture, appliances, bedding, towels, cooking pots and pans and all utensils and home accoutrements, all seem new. But pics and steven's description understates the magnitude of this masterpiece! Built right up into the jungle from the beach, it feels like paradise. Ordinarily tend to go out to eat a lot at the nice restaurants in town (ex Los Abuelos) but the home is very conducive to cooking with a fully-stocked kitchen. The overall sense is the owners have tried to make their casa a good economic value for their guests. Could say much more, but the 1000 word limit stops me. What a treat it was to stay in Gratitud!
